Mission
The Liberty Park Middle School library seeks to ensure each student learns without limits by pursuing knowledge and igniting curiosity about the world through a system distinguished by a safe and nurturing environment, the courage to be creative, unparalleled community support, appreciation of diversity, and multiple paths to a bold future.
Vision
In collaboration with the school’s learning community, Liberty Park Middle School's library media programs will be the center of teaching and learning by providing access to quality collections and technologies and by extending services beyond the library media center’s four walls and the school day.

Library Policies & FAQ
- You can visit before school, after school, and between classes. You can also visit during class, with teacher permission and a hall pass.
- Checkout period is for two weeks.
- You can renew a book for 2 more weeks if no one else is waiting for it.
- We don't charge late fees; however, if a book is very overdue, you won't be able to check out a new one until you return or replace it.
- Replacement cost for lost or damaged books is $20 per book. If the replacement cost will cause difficulty for you, talk to Dr. Ezell.
- You may print completed school assignments in the library. There is no charge for this.
- Disposable earbuds are available for a $1 donation.

Destiny Discover | LPMS Library Catalog
Destiny Discover is our library catalog, where you can search or browse, reserve titles, read e-books, and more. To access it, log in through the app using Classlink.
CultureGrams | Information on countries and cultures
CultureGrams by Proquest is a subscription database of high quality information about countries and cultures around the world.
Users on the LPMS Campus will be given direct access to the database by clicking the link above.
Sora | eBooks and Audiobooks
Stream audiobooks and ebooks through Sora. On a school-issued Chromebook, go to Classlink-->Sora. On your personal device, download the free Sora app, then log in using your school login.
Swank | Full-length movies
Teachers have streaming access to over 200 full-length films. Email Dr. Ezell to request additional titles or for login information.

AVL is your home base for many quality research databases in Alabama. Click the link above. Most of what you need can be found by following this path, then selecting an appropriate database.

Then select an appropriate database to search. Britannica Middle and Explora Middle are good ones to start with for most of our research assignments. Come to the library and ask if you need more targeted help.
Homework Alabama | Free, live tutoring for AL students
Homework Alabama is an excellent free resource where you can chat with a live tutor, submit a paper for review, get help solving a math problem, take a practice quiz, or prepare for the ACT/SAT.
Library in the Forest | Our Vestavia Hills public library
